FAQ
How is a Death Doula different than hospice?
I am not affiliated with any hospice. I do however, work in conjunction with hospice services to provide an extra layer of care and support.
Hospice and palliative care focus on meeting the medical and physical needs of those who are dying. I offer support at any stage of the hospice journey, enhancing traditional care by providing a comprehensive range of non-medical, holistic, emotional, and practical assistance to both the dying and their support systems.

Does insurance cover these services?
No, I offer a fee-based service that operates outside the scope of insurance. However, I’m committed to ensuring everyone has access to supportive end-of-life care, so I can work with clients on a sliding scale if needed.
What type of payment is accepted?
I accept cash, checks, and Venmo.
Did you receive special training as a Death Doula?
Yes. I did my training through INELDA. International End of Life Doula Association.
